| What is Tribal Fusion Bellydance? | |
|
Tribal Fusion is a modern interpretation of an ancient dance. Developed in San Francisco, the dance takes influence from many styles of dance including American Tribal Style bellydance (ATS), hip hop, ballet and modern. It is known for its specific stylistic qualities of uplifted and open posture, strong and controlled muscular isolations, liquid movements and elegant lines, usually layered over the top of modern electronic music.
To see examples of Tribal Fusion bellydance (so you know what to expect!), you can see videos of me performing on the Videos page. Alternatively you can see a video of my favourite dancer here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCOQXSnFf0E | |
